Prom-Themed Holiday Party
This was a prom-themed holiday party for a corporate client with 300 guests in a convention center ballroom. The goal was to create an elevated but campy event that excited and engaged the guests both in aesthetics and experience. Kitschy nods to the school dance experience included elements like a checkerboard dance floor, hanging crescent moon décor, and oversized balloon displays. A warm and hearty winter menu brought in some holiday feel, while specially designed mini desserts kept things light and cheeky.

Beef bourguignon skewers (tender beef, mushroom, baby potato, carrot, rich demi)

Guests at buffet which featured Seared Pacific King Salmon (pomegranate butter sauce and citrus winter slaw); Winter Ale Beef Short Rib (beer braised with pickled radish and carrots); White Bean & Mushroom Ragu (tomatoes and swiss chard with vegan polenta croutons). Sides included Herb Whipped Potatoes, Roasted Squash & Root Vegetable Hash, and La Brea French Dinner Rolls with Sweet Cream Butter.
